Validus Prep is a new small public high school dedicated to academics, health and fitness.

Validus Prep opened in September, 2005 with 108 9th graders. Today, we have 9th, 10th, and 11th grades for a total of 334 students.

In September, 2006, we moved to a brand new school building on Bathgate Avenue between Claremont Parkway and 172nd Street.

The mission of Validus Preparatory Academy is to prepare young people to sustain a healthy and informed life through rigorous academic curriculum and community partnerships focused on health issues relevant to students.

Upon graduation, each Validus Preparatory Academy student will be prepared to succeed in college or a professional career and sustain a healthy and informed life.

Each graduate will have developed a comprehensive multi-media portfolio, acquired advanced academic and communication skills, and demonstrated significant knowledge of health-related issues and personal wellness.
